GPM Malaysia and Zurich Distribute Emergency Grab Bags in Flood-Prone Areas

In a proactive move to address the challenges posed by the upcoming flood season, Global Peace Mission (GPM) Malaysia, in collaboration with Zurich, has undertaken a significant initiative to enhance community disaster preparedness. Recognizing the vulnerability of the local community in Bangi Lama, Selangor to flooding, GPM Malaysia and Zurich have prepared and distributed 100 Emergency Grab Bags containing essential items. This initiative not only provides immediate assistance but also focuses on raising awareness about disaster preparedness, ensuring the community is well-equipped to face unforeseen challenges.

Each Emergency Grab Bag, meticulously prepared by GPM Malaysia and Zurich, contains a range of crucial items designed to aid individuals during emergency situations. The bags include a first aid kit to address immediate medical needs, a torchlight for visibility during power outages, an emergency blanket for warmth, an emergency bar for sustenance, a whistle for communication, and a water bottle for hydration.
