YADIM donates Holy Qur’an

Yayasan Dakwah Islamiah Malaysia (YADIM) or Islamic Da’wah Foundation of Malaysia donated 200 copies of the Holy Qur’an for the orphanage centre in South Thailand, through the facilities of Global Peace Mission (GPM) Malaysia, as follows:

Badan Kebajikan Anak Yatim Tabal (Takbai, Narathiwat) – 100

(Tabal Orphanage Welfare Body)

Darul Aitam wal Masakin Lil Banat (Pattani) –   50

(Girls’ Home for the Poor and Orphans)

Yayasan Pendidikan dan Pembangunan Sumber Manusia (Yala) –   50

(Educational Foundation and Human Resource Development)

Datuk Aziz Jamaluddin bin Mohd Tahir, president of YADIM, handed over the donation to Haji Mohd Asri Abdul, Chief Executive Officer of GPM, at its monthly gathering ceremony at the Islamic Centre Complex, Kuala Lumpur on August 10, 2010.

The donation will be forwarded to the recipients in conjunction with Iftar Ramadhan (breaking of Fast) gathering in Yala on August 21 and in Takbai, Narathiwat on August 22, by Wan Ab. Rahman b. Wan Hussein, GPM Coordinator for South Thailand.
